Knowing that she wanted to be a dentist from a young age, Dr. Sheppard attained her Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University while working as a dental assistant.  In 2011, Dr. Sheppard graduated from the University of Michigan, earning her Doctor of Dental Science degree.  Since then, Dr. Sheppard has spent years in both private practice and public health, and has also worked in administrative dentistry as a Quality Control Director for dentists.  Dr. Sheppard is a member of both the American and Michigan Dental Assocations.  

While Dr. Sheppard is orginally from Clinton, the Sheppard family has recently moved to Gaylord.  Dr. Sheppard and her husband have two wonderful daughters, Ryann and Emma.  The girls are sweet, energetic, and keep their parents on their toes.  The Sheppards enjoy the outdoors (boating, golfing, and snowmobiling), and are looking forward to all that Gaylord has to offer.

After graduating with her Associate of Applied Science degree from Delta College, Terri moved to Lewiston and has worked at this practice for over twenty-five years.  Terri and her husband Chad have three children.  In her spare time, Terri enjoys camping, fishing, quilting, and spending quality time with her friends and family.

As she is both our office manager and a dental hygienist, Amanda's smiling face can be found anywhere in our office.  A Gaylord native, Amanda began working here straight out of Gaylord High School in 1993.  Since recieving her Associates of Science from Lansing Community College, Amanda has been practicing dental hygiene for the last sixteen years.   Amanda and her husband, William, have been happily married for twenty-two years.  The Colliers have two sons, David and Zane.  In her spare time, Amanda loves to read and spend time outdoors in the sunshine, especially at the beach. 

Although she has been with us for the last seven years, Betsy brings many more years of experience to our office, including orthodontics.  Our resident workaholic, Betsy never misses a day of work.  When she is not working here, she can be found delivering, catering or refinishing furniture (more work!).  Betsy is the mother of five grown children and grandmother of four.

Starting here in 1999, Ginger has been with our office for twenty years now!  Orginally from Davison, Ginger has lived in the Gaylord area since 1975.  Married for forty-nine years, Ginger and her husband share three children and eleven grandchildren.  The Hammonds love music, including  playing the piano, organ, accordion, and singing.

Julie has been happily married to her husband Jim for thirty-two years.  They have two daughters, Linsay and Kelly, and a Golden Retriever puppy named Jade.  In her spare time, Julie enjoys camping, kayaking, biking, walking, as well as campfires in the back yard.

After receiving her Associate of Applied Science from Baker College, Jennifer has spent the last eighteen years as a healthcare receptionist in internal medicine, ophthalmology, and now dentistry. New to Northern Michigan, Jennifer and her spouse reside in their tiny home. Jennifer stays busy with her three children, three bonus children, and her first grandchild. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys outdoor activities, family time, and traveling with her spouse.
