Dentist Lewiston - John P. Marconnit DDS, PC

Dear Patients and Prospective Patients:

Governor Whitmer has lifted the order to close dental practices to emergency only appointments and, as a result, we will be opening the practice back up on Monday, June 1st.

We hope this finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many thing have changed, one thing has remained the same: our committment to your safety.

Infection control has always been a top prioity for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it's both safe and comfortable. Coming out of this closure because of Covid-19, it is of the utmost importance that we maintain stringent infection control. Our office will be following the most recent updates on infection control from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and health Administration (OSHA).

You will experience significant changes, in our past protocols, when you visit our office for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. Some of these changes are as follows:

  1. Our office will communicate with you, beforehand, to ask some screening questions. You will be asked those same questions again when you come for your appointment. We will have you contact the office at 989-786-2104, when you arrive. We will ask that you remain in your car until one of our staff directs you to the vestibule entrance where you will be asked the series of questions and also have your temperature taken with a touchless thermometer.
  2. We will not have anyone sit in the waiting room unless they are a parent or are necessary to assist with the scheduled patient.
  3. Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients.
  4. We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting time for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
  5. We will ask that everyone entering the office wear a mask at this time.

We look forward to seeing you and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office.

We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors, and friends.

Sincerely, Dr. John Marconnit and Staff
